BEACH TENNIS SAN MARINO

Beach Tennis in San Marino is managed by the Beach Tennis & Padel San Marino Association, a club affiliated with the San Marino Tennis Federation.

Activities take place at Wonderbay in Serravalle, a world-class indoor/outdoor facility.

Beach Tennis & Padel San Marino organizes and oversees participation in ITF international tournaments, European Championships, and other national team events.

The San Marino National Team competes annually in the European Beach Tennis Championships, as well as in quadrennial multidisciplinary events like the Mediterranean Beach Games, where they have won three bronze medals across the three editions held so far.

At the 2023 European Championships in Heraklion, the women's duo Marika Colonna & Alice Grandi reached the top eight, narrowly missing the semifinals after a hard-fought match against Italy's Daina & Nobile (who went on to win silver).

In 2018 and 2019, Wonderbay hosted one of Europe’s most prestigious ITF indoor tournaments (with a $10,000 prize pool) in November, featuring top-ranked international players.
Additionally, in 2012, San Marino’s beach tennis courts were the venue for the European Beach Tennis Championships, which saw participation from 20 nations.
