The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has made official venues that will host the challenges of the various concentrations of the Davis Cup in 2015. Just two years after the last edition hosted in San Marino, which received great appreciation among the participating countries and same International Federation, the ITF has decided to reassign the San Marino Tennis Federation the organization of the group III, the area Europe, Davis Cup. It is not easy to see that the same country awarded the organization of the tournament in time so close together, this evidence of the esteem that the FST has been able to earn in the international arena in recent years.
The event will be staged on the red courts of the Tennis Center Cassa di Risparmio di Fonte dell'Ovo, 13 to 18 July 2015. Thirteen nations at the start: as well as San Marino, in fact, will battle for promotion to Group II, the euro zone / African, the representative of Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Malta, Montenegro and Norway.
The tournament will take place according to the formula round robin; the teams will be divided into four groups, three of which (A, B and C) of three teams each and one (D) of four teams.
The winners of each group will compete in the playoffs to access the Group II in 2016. The two teams will be promoted.
But in July the "hot" Tennis Federation San Marino does not end here. From July 27 to August 2, in fact, will return the Asset Bank Junior Open, ITF Junior tournament this year promoted to grade 4. The objective of the Federation is to grow again the event, to arrive, one day, to bring Titan on the best Under-18 players in the world.
